Find out what is worth doing before you spend real money
The most expensive AI project is the one that automates the wrong thing beautifully. This is a short, fixed-fee engagement that ends with a ranked, costed roadmap you own — whether you build it with us, with your own team, or not at all.
Typical timeline
2 weeks
Starting at
$3,500 fixed fee
Ongoing cost
None — this is a one-time engagement
You probably need this if
- Your board, your bank, or your kid keeps asking what you are doing about AI
- You have been pitched by three vendors and cannot evaluate any of them
- You tried a tool, it did not stick, and you do not know why
- You have budget for one project and want to spend it on the right one
What you get
Process inventory with time and cost per step
Measured through interviews and observation, not guessed.
Ranked opportunity list
Each item with estimated hours saved, build cost, run cost, and a realistic risk note.
A twelve-month roadmap
Sequenced so early wins fund later work, with clear stop/go checkpoints.
Vendor evaluation criteria
Written questions to ask anyone pitching you AI, so you can tell software from a wrapper.
Common questions
Is this just a sales pitch for your build services?
The deliverable is yours regardless, and a fair number of assessments end with "the highest-value thing on this list is a process change, not software." If we do not think a build is worth your money, that is what the report will say. Charging a fee for the assessment is precisely what lets us say that.
Do you credit the fee if we build with you?
Yes. If you proceed to a build within 90 days, the assessment fee comes off the first invoice.
Often paired with
AI Automation
Most businesses do not have an AI problem.
Custom Software
There is a point where the off-the-shelf tool stops fitting and the spreadsheet becomes load-bearing.
Document & Paperwork Automation
Invoices, purchase orders, acreage reports, delivery tickets, insurance forms, blueprints, inspection sheets.
